aaajiao is the fictional internet persona and pseudonym of Xu Wenkai. Born in Xi'an, aaajiao’s work explores cultural phenomena and political strategies under new technologies of media, culture and power. aaajiao’s work articulates a new aesthetic landscape under internet and mobile media.
