Vvzela Kook, Drowned in, or not in the swimming pool, 2019

This video which was produced during the artist's residency in Nuremberg focuses on the entirely different destinations of the fire bowls that were placed on top of the Zeppelin Tribune building, situated on the former grounds of political rallies in Nazi Germany. Once a strong symbol of power, now the fire bowls stand with each other, separated by a door, mirroring each other and rendered as absurd time capsules. The winding path of 'object' illustrates the ever-changing nature of human history and represents the worst of human morality and its capability of destruction, discrimination and lies.
